Temples of the Earth - a series of photographer Matjaz Crivitz, who spent most of his fotopraktiki devoted to traveling, in which he sought to capture the personality and the greatness of indigenous peoples, as well as magnificent landscapes. Describes himself Matjaz Crivitz: "20 years I travel around the globe, the road became my home, most of the time I travel with a camera, I go from the Sahara to the Himalayas. At age 16 I discovered the extent beckon distant countries. At 26 I went on a journey of a year, during which I visited in different parts of the world, shooting the authentic traditions, social unrest and manifestations of religiosity.

Suddenly, a few professional photographers have given positive feedback on my work and this has caused rise in my career. During my travels, I noticed one specific trait uniting world cultures.

People need special places for worship and meditation - whether church, mountains, rivers, or just a huge boulder .. The common feature of these places is the atmosphere surrounding them, service and meditation effect on newcomers.

I wanted to capture this feeling of gratitude and reverence for life on earth and share it with those who will watch these pictures. For me, really hard to convey the difference between the visual beauty of these places and the atmosphere and spiritual charisma. But I just feel it.

And it may be dirty stupa and the impressive mountain peaks. Once I got more and more keen on photography, I became obsessed with lighting and light, as though any photographer. Now I am fascinated by light in the Northern Hemisphere at a certain time of year. For example, Greenland, with its indigenous Inuit and amazing light comes first in my list.
